Description
Class 1 Rubber and plastic insulation material is made of rubber as the base material. It adopts the internationally advanced “ASSOS fine-control micro-foaming technology”. It is a rubber-plastic insulation material with a completely closed foam structure which is processed by special formula and process. It is chlorine-free. Fluorocarbons, have low thermal conductivity,excellent resistance to water vapor permeation, and good fire resistance. The product is divided into pipes and plates, easy to install, safe and environmentally friendly. It issuitable for water pipes and air ducts in HVAC systems, cooling and heating equipment, hot water pipes and process pipes for cold insulation, ensuring the whole system.

For insulation applications that require additional jacketing, such as exterior insulation applications where UV rays and weather exposure are a problem, Akawell’s Coverwell is designed with a protective laminated cladding already built in. No need to apply a separate protective metal jacket! Akawell’s Coverwell built-in cladding also increases the overall lifespan of the insulation system in both outdoor applications and harsh or corrosive industrial applications. Akawell’s Coverwell is a flexible alternative to metallic-cladding systems. Although designed to work as a covering system for AK Flex materials, Akawell’s Coverwell is universally applicable and can be installed on site as a protective covering over a variety of other materials.
