Rubber Insulation Tube
Description
AK-Flex rubber insulation foam is a kind of black flexible elastomeric nitrile rubber foam. It is original closed cell and fiber-free elastomeric foam. It is furnished with a smooth skin on one side which forms the outer exposed insulation surface. The expanded closed-cell structure makes it an efficient insulation. It is also effective for reducing HVAC noise.
This rubber foam insulation sheet is 100% foaming and completely closed cell inner structure, fiber-free elastomeric thermal insulation material, and it is highly recommended for condensation control due to its excellent moisture vapor resistence and thermal conductivity, which is mainly used for pipe, duct and container. It is manufactured without the use of CFC’s, HFC’s or HCFC’s, which makes it as a kind of environmental-friendly material. As a kind of high quality thermal insulation and energy saving material, it is widely applied for HVAC/R system’s duct, water-pipe, refrigeration and heating equipment, process piping and hot water pipe insulation works.

AK Flex the original elastomeric closed-cell foam insulation, has been the chosen fiber-free mechanical insulation since 1950s. Superior condensation control and consistent thermal performance have made AK Flex the preferred insulating material for pipes and ductwork. Its long-lasting installation and performance have won it favor among engineers, contractors and end-users who understand its long-lasting value.
For insulation applications that require additional jacketing, such as exterior insulation applications where UV rays and weather exposure are a problem, Akawell’s Coverwell is designed with a protective laminated cladding already built in. No need to apply a separate protective metal jacket! Akawell’s Coverwell built-in cladding also increases the overall lifespan of the insulation system in both outdoor applications and harsh or corrosive industrial applications. Akawell’s Coverwell is a flexible alternative to metallic-cladding systems. Although designed to work as a covering system for AK Flex materials, Akawell’s Coverwell is universally applicable and can be installed on site as a protective covering over a variety of other materials.
